Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care and it's employees agree to conduct reliable and trustworthy services stated in this contract. The client waves any and all claims against Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care or it's employees, other than from gross negligence on the part of Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care. Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care utilizes positive training and balanced training techniques to assist you and your dog.

Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care does not accept aggressive animals. Client is responsible for all costs, including, but not limited to medical care and attorney fees if the dog bites another person or animal.

Client understands the dog will be walked on a leash in various environments, including but not limited to the dog's own home and yard, public parks, in various neighborhoods, dog parks or other settings.

Client understands the dog will be walked using various dog training tools such as, but not limited to flat collar, leash, head harness, e-collar, martingale collar, body harness and more.

Client understands that any known aggression and/or behavioral problems must be clearly disclosed and stated to Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care at or before the time of the dog's first training session.The client is solely responsible for any harm caused by their dog to any employee, other dog owners. other dogs. persons, or property.

Client understands that client's dog may be in contact with other dogs and may be injured by or cause injury to other dogs. This may even happen when the dog is handled with maximum care. Client waves and releases Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care and it's employees from responsibility in these circumstances. Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care is not responsible for dogs that cause damage to any property within or of the client's home, yard, or fence. Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care is not responsible for injury, loss, death, or action of any dog the client let out, instructed the trainer to let out, or dogs that escape from areas of training, including but not limited, to the client's home, yard, property, or any area the dog is not leashed and/or contained.

Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care is not responsible for any fleas, ticks, intestinal or other parasites dogs can get in any parks, neighborhoods, or any setting training takes place.

Client agrees to inform Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care of any medications that has any behavior modifying affects. 

Client agrees that an adult 18 years , or older will be present for training.

Client understands that Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care has the right to terminate training instantly without warning if the dog displays any signs of aggression,  because of safety concerns, financial concerns, inappropriate or uncomfortable situations.

Cancellations must be done 24 hours in advance or the full amount of the session is due.

Bad check policy requires a $30 fee on all returned checks. All fees are due before training begins and must be paid via cash, check, or credit card.

Emergency cases and charges authorizes Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care to take the dog to the veterinarian if needed.

Client agrees to authorize Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care to handle any emergencies while the dog is in the care of Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care. First Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care will take every effort to contact the client. If the client cannot be contacted, Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care is authorized to use their best judgment and is available at the rate of $30 per hour while caring for the dog.

Payments for unforeseen costs such as food, vet bulls, or supplies are due within 5 days of completion of services. If you have not paid your fees, Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care has the right to stop services without warning.

Client agrees to be 18 years, or older.

Rates start at $50 per session. $180 for 4 sessions. 

Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care’s insurance is wholly liable, up to the limits of Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care’s insurance coverage for all claims of damage, loss to client’s property, injury, or death. Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care has no further liability to clients.

Client agrees to notify Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care of any person that will be present on property, or in the client’s home during services prior to date of service. Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care is not liable for any claim of damage, loss, injury, or death to client’s pets, or property if any other person is on the client’s property during times of service. 

Any claim of dissatisfaction with service and/or request for a refund must be made within 7 days of completed services. Refunds will be determined between Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care and the client at a reasonable amount of the total cost of services. 

Photo release: client agrees that Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care has the right to videotape, take digital recordings and photographs of the client's dogs and use the contents of the above in Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care media, now or in the future, for business buildup and marketing, including but not limited to, Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care website and/or social media. Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care will not post client information anywhere without first obtaining the client's consent. The client authorizes and releases Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care and their employees to publish and print any photos they choose of the client's dog. The client understands there will be no remittance or financial compensation for any photographs, or recording of the client's dog at any time.

Continuing Obligations: It is agreed and understood by Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care and the client that this agreement considers that the client may be in need of Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care services at various times in the future and the responsibilities and pacts within this contract shall apply to any services in the future.

By signing below, the client(s) fully understand and agree to the contents of the agreement. 

Delightful Dog Training and Pet Services and its employees agree to provide caring, reliable and trustworthy services stated in this contract. Such care will include but not be limited to pet and/or home care as stated in the new client job order. A set fee shall be charged to the client, additional fees may be charged by Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care to the client for additional services requested by the client. Clients will provide all food and supplies. Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care reserves the right to purchase extra food and/or supplies if needed. Client agrees to reimburse Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care for extra food and supply purchase which may require charging the clients credit/debit card. The client waives any and all claims against Delightful Dog Training and Pet Services or its employees, other than from gross negligence on the part of Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care.

Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care is not responsible for pets that cause damage to any property within or of the client's home, yard, or fence. Delightful Dog Training is not responsible for injury, loss, death, or action of any animal the client let out, instructed an employee of Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care to let out, or animals that escape from areas including but not limited to the client's home, yard, property, or any area the animal is not leashed and/or contained.

Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care is not responsible for any fleas, ticks, intestinal or other parasites animals can get in any parks, neighborhoods, or any setting where care and walks are provided.

Client agrees to inform Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care of any medications that have any behavior modifying effects. 

Client agrees to be 18 years, or older.

Rates start at $30 for 30 minutes to Petaluma residents, $60 for 60 minutes in other areas of Sonoma County. Additional charges may apply. 

Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care will retain access codes and keys to client’s property until the time and date of arranged care service pick up, or drop off with no additional fee to client. There is a $10 fee if Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care must pick up, or drop off the keys before, or after the next care service. Keys can only be returned in person to client, by certified mail/return receipt, or in person to a person the client states to be responsible for the keys. Delightful Dog Training and Care will not leave the keys indoors but we can leave the keys in a designated hiding spot. 

Client understands that the client will be in need of Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care services from time to time in the future and client agrees that services contained within this contract will apply to each provision of service in the future without the need of beginning a new agreement. Either party may terminate services at any time for any reason and any outstanding charges for services to date of termination provided by Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care shall be paid in full by the client.

Clients will be notified of any price changes to this agreement prior to, or at the time of a new booking.

Client understands that Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care has the right to terminate pet/home care instantly without warning if the animal displays any signs of aggression, because of safety concerns, financial concerns, inappropriate or uncomfortable situations.

Client agrees to authorize Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care to handle any emergencies while the animal is in the care of Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care. First Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care will take every effort to contact the client. If the client cannot be contacted, Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care is authorized to use their best judgment and is available at the rate of $30 per hour while caring for the animal. It is agreed that the animal shall remain in the client's home, with the veterinarian, or other place specified but not limited to the client's request. Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care shall not provide the animal care within the facility of Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care unless arranged with Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care at the time of booking. Client agrees to Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care to incur veterinary costs in the name of the client. Client agrees to hold harmless and indemnify Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care from any liability that may come from any veterinary charges. Payments for unforeseen costs such as parking fees, food, or supplies are due within 5 days of completion of services. If you have not paid your fees, Delightful Dog Training and Pet Care has the right to stop services without warning.
